GLOBUS, spol s.r.o. was founded in 1992.It was established by the entry on to the commercial register of the District Court in Banská Bystrica on the 8th of October in 1992, legal form- a company with limited liability. The statutory body has two executives.

The company mainly deals with the purchase of food goods and its subsequent sale to its customers. It owns large storage areas. Since 2001, the company expands its activities to opening new retail outlets. Currently there are 26 of them which are supplied mainly from the central warehouse.
